Why is my content not generating leads, even though I post regularly?

Do you want to grow your website? Are you posting content consistently but still struggling to rank on Google? Are you worried about finding the best strategies for content posts on a website but have not found any method to make a proper strategy? There is a lot of data available on the internet, but do you still struggle to find an appropriate way to plan blog posts?

There are many questions in mind, but one thing is common: posting content on Google without finding any leads. 

One thing is common: if we think we will work on a website, social media platforms, or any way to do marketing or post content, we have one goal, and that is lead generation. 

But here, we will discuss content lead generation on websites.

There are many ways and examples of websites to get leads, but I will start from my personal experience and guide you through one example so you will understand how the Google algorithm works.

I can’t do everything at once, so I launched my website to write my articles step by step.

When do I struggle to find leads?

I completed my project with the GetContractor company in the last few weeks. Now, I am thinking about what to do next. I lost everything.

But every end has to wait for a new beginning.

This is why I started my startup. I plan to launch my website and start working on it. One day, I will go somewhere. But all the hard work I will do will pay me one day; even though I work for companies, my work will make their companies succeed. 

But I am thankful to Allah.

This is my startup, and I will work for Brightxsearch. 

Here are a few things I will explain about how I struggle with content strategies for lead generation. 

1. Personal branding 

I learned that personal branding is essential for every business.

When we work with proper flow and marketing strategies with appropriate personal branding, we will build trust and awareness.

Let’s discuss this with an example.

If I have heard about NIKI here, have you ever wondered why you trust it? Because it’s a brand. 

And what exactly is the brand?

The brand will work with proper planning and strategies, and then they will invest smartly.

First, they select names, logos, and design graphics, and then they do marketing using proper strategies.

They don’t stick with one platform, but they brand themselves everywhere.

I apply the same principle to my agency. I work on the three most popular social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and my website.

Brand yourself everywhere.

When people see you everywhere and daily, they trust you.

2. Website Roadmap 

If we are talking about content lead generation for websites, we will discuss this, and the other parts will be addressed in upcoming articles. 

We need a proper roadmap if we start working on a website to optimize it to get some leads or rank in Google searches.

This is very important for website growth, but no one will tell us about it. 

When you start working on a website, make a proper roadmap. Ask yourself a few questions, and then work on it.

  • Why did I start this website?
  • What are the topics or services I work on?
  • What is the target audience?
  • How do I help people through my website?
  • How much time do I spend on this website?
  • What are the leading strategies and techniques to optimize any website?

These are the few questions you ask yourself before starting to work. But by doing and learning, you will also find more ways to grow.

3. Consistency – Don’t stop and start doing 

The next step is to plan everything. Start working on it.

We will not grow immediately, but we will increase. 

And that’s how it works?

When we will work on it daily. 

Consistency is the key to success.

No one will succeed overnight.

Yes, definitely, you will give up. You won’t find a topic to write about or a strategy to implement, but keep going.

Some days are coming, and we have no motivation, but I give myself one motivation.

My motivation is to think about it for the long term and then start working on it.

I fail, but I try. The long-term mindset and planning will work.

How…

Think for a while. What happens when you work on something for one year? So after one year, we will go somewhere else.

Mistakes to do in content lead generation 

1. Enough content strategy 

❌ Don’t: Don’t plan with proper strategies and research and get stuck only on enough data.

✔️ Do: Do a proper search, find the target audience, do a competitive analysis, and then plan your content strategy. 

2. Overuse of AI

❌ Don’t be lazy and follow the AI trend. More use of AI. 

✔️ Do: Take help from AI and take ideas from it, but don’t write about it.

Google will rank you when they find some potential in your content. And that is only possible when you write the article yourself.

When we write, we add research, practical experience, emotions, and experience. That’s why human-written content will be more valuable than AI.

3. Grammatical mistakes 

❌ Don’t: When we write ourselves, we often make grammatical mistakes and believe we have the right to do so. 

✔️ Do: Use proper tools to solve grammatical mistakes, and content will be found to be more professional and valuable.

Tip: Grammarly is the best tool.

4. Not a great start

❌ Don’t: Don’t start the simple introduction of articles.

✔️ Do: Start with an appropriately crafted hook that attracts people. The first line of an article is more effective than starting with simple lines.

5. Not with a Good end (Call to Action CTA) 

❌ Don’t just summarize things, and don’t find any resources.

✔️ Do: End with a proper question and provide some resources and helpful data on how they can learn more about your website or use your services.
